It's 5:40 A.M. and we are leaving for St. Mary's. I am taking Mom there for surgery. Technically it's called a lumpectomy and it's for Breast Cancer. Think happy thoughts and prayers. It was caught early and is the size of a centimeter. Should be no problems...

Signing out,

  1. I hate to hear of any health problems for your Mom. However, I certainly am glad they found it so early.

  2. Update: Mom's doing fine. Just a little sore. They got everything out and the prelim tests on the Lymph node came back negative, which means the cancer has not spread to the node system which is how it travels and preads from the tumor to the rest of the body.
St. Mary's was a bitch. We ended up being there all day for a surgery that was supposed to start at 6 am. It started at 2:30 instead. uggh. But, Everything went fine so I am happy.
    Thanks for the post Steve.
