Dean, my canadian, wanted me to start the subject of SuperBowl Sunday being a national holiday. I couldn't give a shit either way.

    I think it's a wonderful idea Patrick!....not in the sense that we should honor or worship football in and of itself in any way, but in the sense of a day of friendship, family and sharing our love. To use an analogy, if you think of holidays in the same sense that you think of real estate...this holiday would be the equivalent of prime real estate....it is a time of gathering, the biggest time of gathering in the year in fact, and I think it should be honored in that sense, and should be valued as a holiday. I would hazard to guess, that the majority of people that have to work Superbowl Sunday would agree and would like to have that day off as much or more than they would many of the "regularly scheduled" holidays...so in that sense, Superbowl Sunday would be one of the higher valued holidays if it were to become so. So with that said....I would like to be paid double time for working Superbowl Sunday from here on out...to share my love.....
