Car Trouble

Laura's car had a mishap. I thought it might be the fuel filter, but the PCV valve housing had shattered. Ford of course wanted to make it a custom part, so no parts for us tonight! I ran up to the local autozone and bought a general purpose PCV valve, 2 feet of vacuum tubing and various connectors.
A bunch of electrical tape and some southern ingenuity and we now have a new PCV line for her car. It won't last forever, but it will give us some time to buy a real one. Total cost 7 bucks and some change.
I am pleased with myself. I deserve some chocolate.
